Project Overview

Hive was conceived as an interactive entertainment and learning center designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and cognitive growth in children.


Shaped by the geometry and intelligence of a beehive, the project aimed to cultivate mindful play, critical thinking, and collaboration — blending education, science, and design into a seamless learning ecosystem.

Approach

Educational Visioning — collaborated with child psychologists, behavioral scientists, and educational engineers to define a framework for cognitive and emotional development through play.

Behavioral Research — conducted workshops and prototype testing to ensure the center supported diverse learning styles and age groups, integrating feedback from educators and parents.

Concept & Spatial Design — envisioned a modular environment inspired by the bee hive — each cell representing a unique cognitive function such as memory, focus, logic, or imagination.

Mindfulness Integration — introduced calm zones and reflection areas that teach self-awareness and emotional regulation, creating balance between stimulation and rest.

Interactive Learning Systems — designed puzzle-based installations and kinetic experiences that stimulate problem-solving, sensory awareness, and teamwork.

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration — worked with engineers and digital designers to embed responsive technologies and gamified systems for adaptive learning experiences.
